WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?Refexology is a holistic complementary therapy;which works on the feet.It is an ancient healing art that has been around for thousand of years and originated in China,Egypt and India.Reflexologists believe that there are reflexes on the feet for the entire body.We also believe that by applying pressure to these reflexes there is a coresponding theraputic effect on the related part of the body. WHAT CONDITIONS CAN IT HELP? It may be effective for back pain,migraine,infertility,arthritis,hormonal imbalances,digestive problems,insomnia,and stress related conditions. WHAT BENIFITS CAN BE EXPECTED? Benefits include relaxing, and balancing the body.Helps to maintain good health by relieving the body of toxins,encourages a healthy immune system to fight infection. WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST TREATMENT The first appointment starts with a consultation.All consultations are confidential.You are asked about your general health,medical history and lifestyle. You will then lie back in a reclining chair,covered with a blanket and your feet exposed. I will then use my hands to apply pressure to the feet.By doing this i can detect specific points on the feet,and by working these points may affect the corresponding parts of the body.
